"Per KG" checked = weighed item (Unit 1 on the scale). Unchecked = priced per piece (Unit 2), e.g. items like "Chicken kienyeji (per pc)". Category just controls which Class number (1, 2, 3…) the item gets on the scale — group your categories consistently.
